from McDonald’s, Wayne
Larson quickly became
known in the Ames area for
high-quality auto body and
collision repair back in 1975.
The business quickly outgrew the
small shop and moved to 620 E.
Lincoln Way in 1977.

The shop continued to grow and
build a solid foundation with
present day employees of 20+
years Scott Hurst and Kevin
Larson in the shop and Kelly
Davenport in the office.
Continuing with growth and
demand for quality work,
Wayne Larson Collision
Specialists moved to their
present day location at 2017 E.
Lincoln Way in 1990.
